School Collection 

Pupils from Nursery to Year 4 need to be collected by a responsible adult, known to the child. In other circumstances, please talk to us about possible arrangements to support you.

We will not release children to people we do not know, or without prior notification from the parent/carer.

Pupils in Year 5 and Year 6 can walk home, provided written consent is given by the parent and carer, and the school judge that the child is safe to do so.

Morning Break: 10:15 – 10:30am  Fridays 10:30am – 10:45am

Lunch Time: 12 noon 1:00pm

Afternoon Break for and Key Stage 1: 2:15pm – 2:30pm

End of School Day: 3:20pm

Total hours provided - 32.5 per week

 Morning Session - 8.40am - 11.40am (3 hours) 

Afternoon Session - 12.15pm - 3.15pm (3 hours)

• Good attendance and punctuality are vital for success at school and establish positive life habits for future success. 
• Regular attendance encourages children to build friendships and develop the personal and social skills that are essential to lifelong learning. 
• The school displays a proactive attitude to attendance and values its partnerships with parents/carers and the Local Education Authority to promote good attendance.
• The school policy for attendance advocates working closely with all other primary and secondary schools in the local area to provide a cohesive approach to tackling attendance and ensuring that every child experiences their entitlement to regular education.

Further information regarding School Attendance Changes from 19 August 2024 can be found below - this also includes a copy of our Leave of Absence Request form which, once completed, should be returned to the school office.  Paper copies are available from the office if required.
